March 24, from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
At this FREE Family Workshop, visitors will learn all about the wonderful world of Hermit Crabs. Find out what they are? Where they live? What they eat? Did you know that Hermit Crabs actually sing? That they breathe with modified gills? Find out all about these great little creatures and then pick one out to take home with you.
We'll help each family set up a crabarium, teach how to take care of it and then send you home with all the right supplies to give your new little clawed friend a happy little home. All materials are supplied.
We would love for you to keep us updated on your crabs experiences. You can log onto our Science Cafe blog to us about how she's doing, where she's been and ask any questions that you might have about hermit crabs.
This Family Science Workshop is limited to the first 40 people to sign up. So hurry and make a reservation by calling 419.244.2674 ext. 125 or by e-mailing the Science Cafe Coordinator, Lacey Strickler.
