		<description>How long depends on the flower. If you are stopping at a florist for flowers, ask for the ones that are &quot;dry&quot;. I think that is the correct term for the flowers that have been cut and have been out of water for a while but still kept in a cool place. They will rehydrate quickly once put in the colored water and will show colors the quickest. You may start to see a bit of color in the petals in as few as a few hours. For the entire flower to change could take a day or two. Try using warm water which will be taken up by the flower more quickly than cool water. Again it just depends on the specific flowers.</description>
